The book should definitely be recommended to all girls and women, actually to everyone who wants to stop violence against women. It covers the topics of rape culture, victim blaming, domestic violence, child sexual abuse etc. Moreover, it provides specific examples of how media are involved in disseminating of victim blaming and sexist statements. The authors also provide some shocking statistics: I was especially impressed by Jimmy Savile's case - I did not know he sexually abused 450 women, girls and boys during almost 40 years and no one stopped him.
